Chicken Cordon Bleu
Servings: 6-8
Ingredients:
- 8 Chicken Thighs
- 2 TBSP Herban Legend Seasoning Blend
- 8 Slices Ham
- 8 Slices of Swiss Cheese, halved
- 24 Asparagus Spears, bottoms trimmed
- 2 TBSP Bread Crumbs
- 2 TBSP Butter
- 1 TBSP FLour
- 1 ½ TBSP TBSP Dijon Mustard
- 1 tsp Herban Legend Blend
*1 Cup Heavy Cream
*For slightly lighter consistency, you may use Half-and-Half.
Dijon Sauce Instructions:
- Melt butter in small saucepot.
- Add flour and whisk together as you cook for 1 minute.
- Add Herban Legend Seasoning and Dijon mustard. Stir.
- Slowly add heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes or until it thickens.
Instructions
Step 1:
As sauce cools, set oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2:
Roll out thighs onto cutting board.
Step 3:
Season both sides with Herban Legend Seasonings.
Step 4:
Place 1 TBSP of Dijon Cream Sauce and spread.
Step 5:
Layer with ham, Swiss Cheese half and asparagus spears.
Step 6:

Step 7:
Sprinkle with 2 TBSP Bread Crumbs.
Step 8:
Place in sheet pan and cover with foil.
Step 9:
Bake for 15 minutes.
Step 10:
Uncover and top each bundle with remaining swiss cheese slice.
Step 11:
Keep uncovered and cook an additional 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked though and reads at a temperature of 165 degrees F.
Step 12:
Serve immediately with a simple green salad.
