Pan-Seared Rib-Eye Steak

One Serving



  • 1 Small, Boneless Rib-Eye
  • 2 TBSP Butter
  • 1 TBSP Neutral Oil
  • 1 Portobello Mushroom, sliced thinly
  • 3/4 TBSP Steak It Easy Seasoning + 1/4 TBSP
Pan-Seared Rib-Eye Steak


Step 1:

Let raw steak rest 20-30 minutes on counter. Season both sides of steak with 3⁄4 TBSP Steak It Easy Seasoning.

Step 2:

Heat a cast iron skillet for a minute over high heat.

Step 3:

Add 1 TBSP Oil and butter right before placing steak in skillet. Adjust heat to Medium- High

Step 4:

Cook for 4 minutes on one side.

Step 5:

Carefully flip and cook for an additional 3 minutes for a Medium-Rare to Medium Steak.

Step 6:

Remove steak from skillet and set aside.

Step 7:

Wipe down skillet and add 1 TBSP butter.

Step 8:

Add mushrooms and season with remaining Steak It Easy Seasoning. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes or until mushrooms are cooked through.

Step 9:

Slice steak and top with mushrooms. Finish with a light sprinkle of salt, if you like.
