Quickie Chickie Dumpling

Servings: 6 



  • 3 TBSP Butter
  • 1 Onion, small-diced
  • 2 Carrots, peeled & small-diced
  • 1⁄2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 6 Cups Chicken Stock
  • *1 lb Potato Gnocchi
  • 1 TBSP Herban Legend
  • **4 cups Shredded Chicken
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
Quickie Chickie Dumpling

Notes* *You can find gnocchi in the dry pasta section of the grocery store. **Store-bought rotisserie is a great option. If cooking chicken at home, season with 1 TBSP Herban Legend Seasoning.


Step 1. In a large soup pot, sauté onions, carrots and 1⁄2 tsp Kosher salt in butter until onion is translucent.

Step 2. Sprinkle flour and stir well. Cook for 1 minute.

Step 3. Add chicken stock, seasonings and bring to a boil. Add gnocchi and bring to high simmer for 10 minutes. Gnocchi is cooked through when it floats to the top.

Step 4. Reduce heat & add chicken and heavy cream.

Step 5. Stir throughout.
